On a recent Thursday morning, a fatal Tennessee car accident occurred along Vietnam Veterans Parkway. The motor vehicle accident resulted in the death of three people. According to officials, four different vehicles were involved in the crash.
Police allege that the incident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. A Chevy Impala hit another vehicle from behind. After the impact, the Impala began spinning out of control. Next, another vehicle slammed into the Impala head-on. Finally, an additional vehicle sideswiped the Impala.
Three people died in the accident. Police did not find any alcohol at the scene of the incident but did say that speed was an issue; however, the accident is still being investigated. Five people were hurt in the accident, four individuals were treated and released and one person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
